Happy Halloween!

Adventures Oct 31, 2014

I have to admit, Halloween has moved down my list of “Favorite Holidays” over the years… As a child I LOVED Halloween- what’s not to love? You get to play dress up, people give you free candy, and school is practically nonexistent the day of.  As you get older though it’s somehow turned into a fill in the blank slutty costume contest and another reason to drink.  Give me old school Halloween any day- bring on the legit amazing costumes, the candy, the PG 13 scary movies (yes, I’m the biggest scaredy cat on Earth), and a reason to hang out with your friends in totally absurd costumes.

Every year I make it a point to swing by Disneyland for a day (or two or three) and spend the day frolicking happily with my fellow Halloween kids eating far too much sugar and indulging in the innocent Halloween spirit that still lives on in Mickey’s Kingdom.  You can keep your haunted hayrides and your Knott’s Scary Farms, I’ll pick The Nightmare Before Christmas Haunted Mansion each and every time!

So in the Halloween spirit here’ s a little photo diary of this year’s trip to Disneyland PLUS a few of my favorite must see Disney Halloween movies that I rewatch every year (: Happy Haunting homieloverfriends! I hope you all have a safe and fun Halloween!
